__panorama__
It's the year 2042, in the city Nidaros (Norway). World War Three ended thirteen years ago, but the political situation across the globe is still unstable. Capitalism is growing and economic powers are rising. Technology is advancing like never before. It's a fresh age. A new world. But with the same old, dark secrets.
With the illicit genome-project SRPHM, the multinational shadow organization The Arcane Hand intends to increase the human psychological and physical potential. But two of their former subjects, oblivious of their involvement, are becoming a problem.
Long gone assassin Eva stumbles into her brother's life again, putting Ash and his family in danger. When Ash gets involved, his wife and son is murdered. Despite their differences, Eva and Ash now join in revenge against The Arcane Hand for killing his family.
Little do they know that Ash’s son is still alive, and like them, a subject for SRPHM. |

Eva and Ash haven’t seen each other for five years.

__themes__
Nidaros 2042 is a story about vengeance and tragic endings. It's about seeking truth and justice, but in the end only giving away that these are mere notions, individual notions.
Nidaros 2042 is a tale of revenge set in a post-war world of the 21th century, displaying the somber truth that mankind isn't built for harmony or peace and truth and justice isn't any better than lies or ignorance. But there is a hope of a greater tomorrow, even if it's built on lies and deceit.
__market__
Nidaros 2042 is a work that can please any comic buyer, no matter their location, even if the setting is in little (exotic) Norway. It has a universal theme, built on an intricate and authentic world.
Due to its Norwegian setting it will have an extra selling point on the Norwegian (and Scandinavian) market.
Nidaros 2042’s open ending gives a good advantage for a sequel. Its thorough universe might also spawn many stories and characters. It may also be adapted to several other mediums. |
