My name is Magnus Aspli and I'm a writer, scribe, creator, storyteller. Whatever floats the ark. I was born in 1985 in Rindal, a tiny place on the countryside in the middle of Norway. Or in the middle of nowhere, as some would say. I now live and work in Trondheim.
After three years of media in school, I went on to the world of film, spending two of my bachelor years in the Norwegian University of Science & Technology (Trondheim), studying Film Science. Four semesters reading history and theory, watching and discussing movies. The final bachelor year was spent at Queensland University of Technology in Queensland, Australia, where creative subjects like scriptwriting, short fiction and narrative production (short movies) were passed. With this new creative environment down under, the passion for storytelling came crawling, and possessed me. Who said a demon was a bad thing? I'm not that kinda guy that's content doing just one thing. I need to try ever beer at the bar, every ice cream in the cooler, everything on the menu. Same with writing. From poetry to graphic novels, I have done it, or I will. Hopefully, I will have put down something memorable before I leave this sphere. Get in touch: |
